Payment
We accept payment by PayPal, which provides secure processing of transactions and does not require you to disclose your financial information. Through PayPal, all popular credit and debit cards (including American Express) as well as bank funding are accepted. You do not need a PayPal account to pay by credit or debit card through it.
For customers who do not wish to pay through PayPal, we accept all popular credit and debit cards (including American Express) online through Stripe. At checkout, your card details are encrypted and sent directly to Stripe and are not stored on our server.
We also accept bank transfer (BACS/CHAPS) and wire transfer (T/T).

Yes, you can pay by credit card either directly through Stripe or alternatively through PayPal at the checkout page. If you wish to pay through PayPal but do not have a PayPal account simply select “Pay with a debit or credit card” and enter your details and credit card information.
If you encounter an issue with these methods we can take your credit card payment over the phone, please call us.
To obtain an invoice for your accounting department please complete the checkout process and select bank transfer as the payment method. Your invoice will be e-mailed to you immediately on completion. Your order will then be shipped on receipt of payment.

With third party processing for credit/debit card transactions, at no point would we have or store your card details. If you pay over the phone your card details will immediately be entered into a secure transaction system and will not be retained thereafter.
Your order will ship from the UK. Customers within the UK are not liable to any VAT, sales tax or customs duties. Outside of the UK, any applicable taxes and customs duties charged by your local authorities will be assessed at destination and are payable by the customer. Please check with your local customs office if in doubt.

No. Paint thickness gauges are coating thickness gauges (they can measure thicknesses of coatings other than just paint!) While our gauges are popular for use in measuring paint thicknesses and automotive related applications, they are likewise used in industrial applications and non-paint related coating thickness measurements (e.g. plastic dipping, powder coating, metal plating etc).
Our gauges and meters are suitable for use in a broad range of environments. An overview of common applications is provided here.
Our gauges and meters come with a 1 year return to base warranty. (The warranty does not cover accidental, physical or water damage to the device).
The live stock status of each product is listed on its product page. The status “In stock” or “Out of stock” will be displayed next to the price. Items in stock are available for shipment from the UK.
Shipping
Registered Airmail
We will ship all of our products worldwide via Registered Airmail. This is generally the least expensive shipping option and can be tracked along the way to certain countries, but not all. However, a signature will always be required on receipt.
Express Courier Shipping
For customers who need a faster delivery service at extra cost, we can ship to any country by courier. The most effective courier company will depend on each courier’s service capabilities to your particular country. We will select the most appropriate carrier, however if you prefer a specific courier company please contact us. We will advise if there will be any change to the shipping rate quoted at the online checkout.

Regular shipping is by Signed For Mail and Registered Airmail. Express Courier shipping is available at extra cost. All packages must be signed for on receipt.

We ship worldwide including to the UK, EU, USA, Canada and most of the rest of the world. To check if we ship to your country please proceed to checkout and if your country is selectable in the address form, then we ship to your country and you can order online. If it is not there, please contact us.
Shipping rates and options to your country are automatically calculated and displayed in the shopping cart and checkout. To check shipping rates, add a product to your shopping cart and select your shipping country. Shipping rates are then confirmed at checkout and viewable prior to purchase and entry of any payment details.
If postal shipping is selected, goods are always despatched within one business day and often the same day (depending on order receipt time). If express courier shipping is selected, goods are despatched the next working day (due to couriers requiring notice to collect the package).
For extremely urgent orders we can offer same day delivery in the UK by specialist courier. If you need this, please call us.
